South Korea national football team will hold a training camp in Europe in January 2022. The team will play two friendly matches against Iceland and Moldova. The matches will be held at Mardan Stadium in Antalya, Turkey. This is a friendly match for the Korean football team ahead of the final qualifying round for the 2022 Qatar World Cup in late January and February. Paulo Bento trains with K-League and J-League players and plays friendly matches. Bento's purpose is to check their abilities. Son Heung-min does not participate in the training. KFA does not have the authority to call Son Heung-min. Son Heung-min will play the club's schedule at Tottenham. However, Son Heung-min will be called up during the FIFA-defined international match to help the Qatar World Cup. KFA also announced a list of 26 national team players to participate in friendly matches against Iceland and Moldova. None of the Korean players are active in Europe. The Korean national football team will add players who play in Europe after training in Turkey and play away games in the Middle East. Some players just return to Korea after training in Turkey.
