An incident occurred where an illegal drone intruded into the South Korea national football team's training ground. This incident took place during their training session in preparation for the 2026 CONCACAF World Cup. The South Korea national football team was conducting a closed-door training at the Chivas Verde Valle training ground near Guadalajara, Mexico. The training was held for approximately one and a half hours, and the players were engaged in warm-up exercises. During the session, a security officer spotted the drone and took immediate action. A Mexican military drone response officer used jamming equipment to force the drone to crash. After the drone crashed, two foreign men retrieved it and fled the scene. Their escape was captured on camera by the national team's video team. Currently, the identity and purpose of the drone flight remain unconfirmed. FIFA security personnel immediately requested an investigation from the local police, who have launched an inquiry. Fortunately, it has been determined that no damage occurred regarding the leakage of the national team's tactics, as the drone was discovered before full-scale tactical training began.
