Uzbekistan and South Korea Hold Final Review Workshop on Joint Research Projects

In a final review workshop held in Tashkent, South Korea and Uzbekistan presented the outcomes of joint research projects supported by KOICA and KRICT. The results of two R&D projects were shared, and prospects for future scientific and technological cooperation were discussed.

Workshop Overview

The final review workshop was held in Tashkent and organized by Uzkimyosanoat JSC. South Korea participated with support from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT). Attendees included KRICT management and researchers, Korean experts, Uzbek participants involved in the joint research, and specialists from Uzkhimprom.

Project Results Presentation

The outcomes of two joint R&D projects were presented. The presentations covered research findings, experience exchange, and opportunities for practical application of the technologies developed. Each project was carried out collaboratively by Korean and Uzbek researchers, with experimental data and analyses shared.

Discussion on Future Cooperation

The main objective of the workshop was to review the results of the joint research, assess the findings, and discuss prospects for further scientific and technological cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea. After the presentations, a general discussion was held in which participants reviewed the presented work and discussed prospects for further collaboration. The participants agreed to develop concrete plans for the next phase of research cooperation.
